I walked into my bedroom this afternoon to gather all necessary props for photographing light switch covers. I looked at the lighting coming in thru the windows and thought that I could take pictures right there in my bedroom. Less hauling I'd have to do. I gave it a whirl.

Ah. Maybe not. It's always hard to know until I get them loaded onto my computer. So back downstairs to my usual location. An east facing window in the early afternoon.

Truer colors, less glare, brighter light, etc. Much better.
Both of these pics have the same amount of editing. The more I monkeyed with the top one, the worse it got. Guess I better keep taking pictures where it works and not get lazy about hauling all the jazz downstairs.
